Where were we then? Where are we now?
Five photographers explore what has changed and developed artistically in the years since their graduation from photography school.
The exhibition shows exemplary work samples, therefore, a space is created in which the joint examination of photography and the visual arts in general can take place once again.
In the curational process, unifying elements were found. The recurring human desire to understand one‘s environment is just one of them.
The exhibition taking place in September 2024 in Studio 111, Märzstraße 111, 1150 Vienna,
showed works of Bernadette Kronberger, Elena Riener, Michael Schulte, Pauline Knibbe-Klimt and Kimberley Eastman.
FUND.STÜCK[E]
“I recently found out, that maybe I am actually the one who is sane, the one who knows things.“
How do we trust our intuitions, in a world that works against some of us?
In a world where a certain amount of our parts and pieces just don ́t seem to fit.
Fundstücke deals with the author ́s constant love to collect and them trying to organise and understand. -Half forgotten objects, moments that seem to want to disappear, and subtle streams of thought.
These finds are beeing portrayed in this work.
